Now I could comment this on the match thread, but I feel it deserves it's own thread for any media who monitor these forums:
Jurgen Klopp just said on post match interview that he knew we were a strong team from set pieces and they knew about our set piece routine from which we scored from....two massive issues with that comment: firstly, I have seen every game this season and we are genuinely awful from set pieces, secondly in 30 years of watching West Ham I have never seen that free kick routine.
On top of that, he supposedly had only just heard their goal was offside, which made it understandable how much the ref favoured us in the second half because it's human nature for a person to naturally want to level it out....
Thankfully, tonight has shown that there is no way that Liverpool will win the league this season or next and from this point they will do well to finish above Spurs.
As a footnote, we will be a massive threat when at full strength and when Pellegrini has the option of bringing on players who can strengthen rather than the likes of Carroll and Obiang who (unlike Arnie) would even struggle to win trophies in China
